Fredericks Family Scholarship

Ends on

The Fredericks Family is committed to taking care of those who have not had the same opportunities or privileges that they have had. They recognize that oftentimes people learn differently, by doing, rather than by following a traditional college path. To be mindful of these different learning styles, the Fredericks Family Scholarship is designed to support students by providing vocational training scholarships for those looking for pathways to employment.

To be eligible for scholarships, individuals must:

  • Reside in San Diego County.
  • Aged 18 or older.
  • Plan to enroll in trade-based education at an accredited non-profit college, university, or training institution.
  • Complete the training program within 2 years.
  • Have a gross family income of no more than $80,000 per year.
  • Explain how the training will enhance their employment opportunities.

Maximum scholarship awards will be $5,000 per applicant per program. Students must begin their program within 12 months of applying for the scholarship.
