Jim Farley Jewish Communal Professional Development Grant
The Jim Farley Jewish Communal Professional Development Grant empowers professionals working in Jewish nonprofits across San Diego County by providing access to high-impact development opportunities—ranging from training and mentorship to continuing education and leadership programs. Rooted in Jim’s deep passion for cultivating local Jewish talent and his unwavering commitment to the community, the fund uplifts those who are building a vibrant, resilient, and forward-thinking Jewish future. It also honors the enduring legacy of Toni and Lee Leichtag z”l, whose belief in investing in people laid the foundation for this important work.
The Jim Farley Jewish Communal Professional Development Fund will be held at the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego and the primary implementing partner will be JPro San Diego. JPro is a professional network for individuals who work for a Jewish communal organization in San Diego. The goal of JPro San Diego is to increase the sense of pride for working in the San Diego Jewish Community and support the growth of the talent in our field.
